Niagara Major League 2010 Rules & Policies

 
 
  • All games are 8 ends, OCA rules apply
  • Tie games are broken with a complete extra end towards the glass
  • Anyone is eligible to spare. If you are playing a makeup game and use a spare who is a league member, they must play front end
  • If your team can’t make it please re arrange your game, but if only one person is unable to attend, please get a spare…if you don’t you are asking 7 others to rearrange their schedule because of one player
  • If your team is unable to make a game, please notify the opposing team, the NFCC and the League conveners.  It is the responsibility of the team asking for the postponement to arrange a makeup game.  At the discretion of the conveners, the win for games not made up by the end of the season may be awarded to the team who was asked to postpone the game
  • The practice is 5 minutes, or one rock up and one rock back for each player. Please cooperate
  • Ice assignments for each game may be changed by the ice staff
  • First team listed on the schedule each week has first practice and throws red rocks
  • Flip for the hammer
  • Four teams will make the playoffs….ties for the last playoff spot will be broken by an additional game
